We have made every effort to display the colors and textures of our products as accurately as possible; however, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy due to color inconsistencies in computer monitors. We recommend ordering fabric color samples before final purchase.
Placing an Order
Once you have placed the items you want to purchase in your cart, either click on the shopping cart or "Checkout." If using PayPal, hit the "Check out with PayPal" button in your shopping cart and follow the instructions. Otherwise, select "Checkout" and either login or continue as a New Customer. You will always have the opportunity to review your order before the order is submitted. Once an order is placed it cannot be modified.
Once your Awning is completed we will contact you via phone or email to confirm your address and set up a time for delivery. If you would like to include Awning installation, we will arrange a time and date for the installation also.
Payment Methods
We accept PayPal, checks, or money orders in US funds. Orders paid by check will be held for approximately 10 days or until the check clears. Sorry, no CODs.
Email Confirmations
An email confirmation will be sent to you as soon as we receive your order. Another email will be sent notifying you when your order has been completed and is ready for delivery/installation.
If you have not received any emails from HOME-TECK, check your spam folder! You will need to manually add Rolf@Home-Teck.com to receive important update emails.

We do our best to satisfy every order and request accurately and completely. We carry only the best products by well known and respected manufacturers from Europe. If you are not satisfied with each and every item you have purchased, please give us a call and we will make it right!
Cancelling or Modifying an Order
Once an online order is submitted, it can no longer be updated online. Call 408.607.9126 as soon as possible if you need to make any changes/corrections!
Return Policy
Since each retractable awning and shade is custom-made to your specific specifications, once completed and assembled they may NOT be returned or exchanged. The only exception to this would be in the case of a manufacturer's defect in the product, which would be covered under Warranty.
Standard Warranties:
- 10 years limited warranty for material defects for all Solaris Retractable Awnings (Frame work).
- 10 years limited warranty on Sunbrella Awning fabrics.
- 5 years limited warranty on Somfy Motors and Accessories.
- 5 years limited warranty on AwnTex 120 Awning fabric.
Notice to Buyers:
- Warranties are pro-rated from the date of installation.
- Normal wear, weather soiling, pollution stains, misuses, mishandling, willful destruction and acts of God are not covered at our discretion.
- Wind or storm damage, or from exposure to highly corrosive environment ( I.e. oceanfront) or from debris build up (leaves, branches, etc.) is not covered.
Installation:
It is the Customer's responsibility to provide safe access to the installation areas at our discretion. If higher than second story.
and/or not accessible by regular ladders, scaffolding may be needed and provided at extra cost. Any permits required are the responsibility of the buyer. Installation estimates assume that there are no hidden issues in the customer's building structure.
If we find upon installation that there are issues with the building structure that will prevent proper installation or that may prevent a safety hazard (for example, improperly placed studs, studs with dry rot, or electrical service that is not to code).
Home-Teck must place the installation on hold until the problem is resolved by the Customer. In this case, we will bill for timeand travel of our installation crew separately and in addition to the quoted installation price.
